There are only 450,000 Cottage Lottery Tickets available.

Cottage Lottery tickets are: 1 for $100, 3-Pack for $250, 5-Pack for $375, 10-Pack for $700, Mega-Pack for $525 and Max-Pack for $875.

Mega-Pack includes 5-Cottage lottery Tickets, 25-50/50 Tickets and 6-30 Days of Vacays Calendar Tickets for $525.

Max-Pack includes 10-Cottage lottery Tickets, 50-50/50 Tickets and 6-30 Days of Vacays Calendar Tickets for $875.

All tickets in a 3-Pack, 5-Pack, 10-Pack, Mega-Pack or Max-Pack, must contain the same information. Up to three names can appear on a Cottage Lottery ticket. Only one form of payment may be used per purchase. Ticket numbers will be issued in sequential order.

Yes, per licensing body (AGCO) rules, participation in the 50/50 Add-On is contingent upon a verified purchase of a Cottage Lottery ticket order. (See separate FAQs for more information about the 50/50 Add-On).

No, there is no requirement that you order a Cottage Lottery ticket to play the 30 Days of Vacays Calendar.

Yes, you can place your 30 Days of Vacays Calendar ticket order at any time (while supplies last) to the ticket deadline of July 28, 2023.

The Cottage Lottery is intended for Ontario residents. Ticket buyers must be in Ontario at the time of order and provide an Ontario mailing address.

The following individuals and all of their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, members of the UHN (University Health Network) Board of Trustees and Executive Team, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.

There are 10,004 prizes and only 450,000 tickets available. 1 chance in 450,000 tickets x 10,004 draws equates to approx. 1 chance in approximately 46 to win a prize.

Please allow up to 3-5 business days for your tickets by email or 7-10 business days for tickets by Canada Post. Ticket purchasers who have not received their OFFICIAL TICKET after this time or who wish to report a misspelled name or address on an OFFICIAL TICKET should please check your JUNK/SPAM or contact Customer Service at 1-800-542-8813 or email pmhlotterycs@mnp.ca.

One week is allowed between the ticket sales cutoff and the start of the draws. This time period allows for all forms of payment to be verified and processed. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). If for any reason a payment is returned, the ticket will be deemed invalid if payment cannot be verified prior to the start of the draws.

Mailed Tickets: Upon receipt and/or authorization of payment for your ticket order, you should receive your ticket(s) via Canada Post in 7-10 business days.

The VIP Prize comprises: three (3) prizes – 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Total VIP Prize Value: $88,639.40 OR a Cash alternative of $70,000. Order your tickets by Midnight, June 16, 2023 to be eligible. The VIP Prize Draws will take place on June 27, 2023.

The Early Bird Prize comprises: one (1) prize – $1 Million Cash. Order your tickets by Midnight, July 14, 2023 to be eligible. The Early Bird Prize Draw will take place on July 25, 2023.

No. All prizes are purchased by the Foundation using the tender process.

No. Prizes won are not taxable. Therefore, a ticket purchase cannot be used as a tax deduction.

Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada. If a real estate prize winner is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise exempted from Ontario’s Non-Resident Speculation Tax (NRST), the winner will be responsible for payment of the NRST.

Once a winner takes title of their prize, it is theirs to do with as they wish.

After a winner takes title, the winner is responsible for all the usual costs associated with home/cottage ownership.

If all tickets are sold by the VIP Prize Deadline of Midnight, June 16, then the draws for all prizes will be made on June 27, 2023.

No, the Cottage Lottery Draws will not be televised live on CP24. The top valued prize winners will be announced live on CP24 on the applicable Cottage Lottery draw date pending sell out of the lottery (announcement will be on either June 29, July 27 or August 10, 2023).

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and where to claim their prizes. A searchable list of all prize winners will be posted online at PrincessMargaretLotto.com on July 6, August 3 or August 17, 2023 pending sell out of the lottery. Arrangements may be made to have a prize shipped to you “freight collect”, or if someone other than the winner will be claiming the prize on the winner’s behalf, the winner must provide written and signed authorization along with the original prize-winning letter.

There will be no restriction on the number of 50/50 Add-On tickets offered for sale. Ticket numbers will be issued in sequential order beginning at 50000001. 50/50 Add-On ticket numbers will be listed on your Cottage Lottery Official Ticket receipt.

For each 50/50 Add-On order placed in conjunction with your Cottage Lottery, one official ticket receipt will be issued. The ticket will list all ticket numbers assigned for Cottage Lottery and the 50/50 Add-On draw.

Per licensing body (AGCO) rules, 50/50 Add-On tickets must be assigned to the same ticketholder as the Cottage Lottery ticket. To order Cottage Lottery and 50/50 Add-On as a gift, simply advise us at the time of order who you would like to give the ticket to and provide the address of the giftee. *Giftee must be 18 years of age or older.

Ticket orders must be cancelled prior to commencement of the draws and will be refunded for the amount that was paid for the ticket. Once draws have begun, no refunds are permitted. If a ticket order for the Cottage Lottery is cancelled, all 50/50 Add-On tickets ordered with that ticket will also be cancelled.

There are a total of sixty (60) prizes to be awarded, each consisting of a vacation prize plus $8,000 cash for a total prize value of $1,593,500.

30 Days of Vacays Prizes will be awarded as cheques payable to the primary ticketholder for the value of the vacation and cash prize. Vacations include air from Toronto, transfers and taxes. Princess Margaret 30 Days of Vacays Calendar ticket orders may be cancelled prior to the commencement of the draws and will be refunded for the amount that was paid for the ticket. Once draws have begun, no refunds are permitted.

Time is allowed between the ticket sales cutoff and the start of the draws for all forms of payment to be verified and processed. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). If for any reason a payment is returned, the ticket will be deemed invalid if payment cannot be verified prior to the start of the draws.
